The artwork has been inspired by the Ferguson Valley’s rolling landscape and the surrounding wetlands. The colours come from the yellow of the kunzea, the sand bottlebrush and the cooling seabreeze of our second summer ‘Bunuru’. Using the reflective qualities of the wetlands and the topograhy of the region to inform the pattern, the artwork ebbs and flows across the span of the bridge.
